Compare cutting time with sheet preparation
An exchange table lets the workflow alternate between cutting and preparing the next sheet. Review the time needed to place stock and collect finished parts alongside the cutting program. The table arrangement alone does not establish the output of a particular job.
Specify the sheet format and loading space
Select the working area against your purchased sheet size and nesting requirements. The JB range lists four formats, from 3,050 × 1,500 mm to 8,000 × 2,500 mm. Include stock access and the loading position in the layout review, not just the cutting area.
Machine selection questions
Is an exchange table the same as automatic sheet loading?
No. Table exchange changes which table is in the cutting position. Moving stock onto the table and collecting cut material are separate handling tasks. State whether loading and unloading are manual or part of an additional automation package in the quotation.
When should I compare JB with a single-platform cutter?
Compare them when the sheet format fits both ranges but the handling workflow differs. Assess how often sheets change, how parts are removed and the space available around the machine. The single-platform range provides an open-table alternative; the JB range adds an enclosed cutting area and table exchange.
Does 80 m/min mean the machine cuts my sheet at that speed?
No. The listed 80 m/min is positioning speed. Cutting speed depends on the material, thickness, geometry and process configuration. Use the intended part and sheet specification when evaluating output.
Can I select a JB model from laser power alone?
No. Start with the sheet dimensions and loading layout, then review power against the material and required edge quality. The seven listed power options are configuration choices, not a common cutting-thickness guarantee for all four working areas.
What is needed for a JB quotation?
Send sheet dimensions, material grades, thicknesses, representative part drawings and production requirements. Include the loading method, available layout and any requested handling equipment so the machine and integration scope can be identified.
