Laser cutting automation systems

Connect coil-fed laser cutting, automatic sheet loading and unloading, or material storage to your production plan. Compare three systems by stock format and handling scope.

Plan the material flow around the laser cutter

This range covers sheet-metal laser cutting automation: coil preparation and feeding, sheet loading and unloading, and sheet storage. Select the starting point from the form of stock you buy and the handling step you want to change. A complete plan also identifies how cut sheets or parts move to the next operation.

Start from coil: decoiler cutting line

The SM-series-01 line combines uncoiling, leveling, feeding and laser blanking. Compare it when the production brief starts with coil stock; specify the material and coil requirements alongside the required blank geometry.

Move sheets: automatic loading and unloading

SM-series-02 handles sheet loading and full-sheet unloading, with a listed 500 kg capacity. Check sheet size and weight as well as machine access. Full-sheet unloading should not be read as automatic separation and sorting of every finished part.

Store sheets: material storage system

SM-series-03 lists modular 6–13-layer storage, scheduling and MES connectivity. Review the required stock mix, storage layout and control interfaces for the selected configuration.

Process shaped parts with a robot

Robot laser cutting is a separate equipment direction. If the task involves robot motion around a three-dimensional workpiece rather than sheet-stock flow, compare the robot systems category.

Prepare your selection brief

  • Specify whether material arrives as coil or sheet and provide its dimensions.
  • Describe the cutting machine, storage arrangement and transfer sequence.
  • Include the floor layout and interfaces that must connect with existing equipment.

Laser cutting automation questions

What is included in this laser cutting automation range?

The three systems cover coil-fed laser blanking, automatic sheet loading and full-sheet unloading, and sheet storage. The required combination depends on the stock format and handling workflow. The quotation should identify which systems, interfaces and integration work are included.

Is full-sheet unloading the same as automatic part sorting?

No. Full-sheet unloading transfers the processed sheet. Separating individual parts from the remaining sheet and sorting them is a different task. Specify the required downstream handling separately; it is not established by the SM-series-02 full-sheet unloading description.

Can these systems connect to an existing laser cutting machine?

Connection needs a project-specific review. Provide the existing machine model, table arrangement, control interfaces and layout together with sheet size and weight. Compatibility with every machine or controller is not claimed for this range.

When should I compare coil feeding with sheet storage?

Compare coil feeding when the production plan starts from coil and includes leveling and feeding before blanking. Compare sheet storage when the input is individual sheets that need organized storage and supply. Raw-material purchasing, part mix and downstream handling help define which route to assess.

Does MES connectivity mean the system works with any factory software?

No universal software compatibility is stated. For a storage-system project, identify the existing MES, required data exchange and control responsibilities so the interface scope can be confirmed. Include this work in the quotation rather than assuming it is standard.
