Operator-assisted tube-cutting system
Balance loading control with focused tube production
The series is configured around the tube profile, stock length, production volume and available loading space rather than a one-size-fits-all machine package.
Operator-assisted material loading
The series keeps material loading under operator control while the chuck, support and cutting system coordinate the machining cycle.
1.2-6 kW power selection
Five listed power levels allow the cutting package to be matched to material, wall thickness, assist gas and edge-quality requirements.
100 m/min listed positioning speed
The listed motion package combines 100 m/min positioning speed with acceleration up to 1.5 G.
120 rpm chuck speed
The listed chuck speed supports controlled tube rotation for coordinated profile cutting.
Rack drive and linear guide
A double-drive gear-rack transmission and listed Taiwan Hiwin guide rail form the core motion arrangement.
Model-specific configuration review
Tube profile, diameter, length, wall thickness and loading clearance are reviewed before the final model and process package are released.

Tube materials and production contexts for the semi-automatic series
Published wall-thickness limits are held back until the exact model, material grade, laser power and assist-gas combination are confirmed.
- Carbon steel
- Grade, wall thickness, assist gas and edge-quality target are confirmed before configuration
- Stainless steel
- Tube grade, surface requirement and cutting-gas choice are included in process review
- Aluminium alloy
- Alloy grade and reflectivity are reviewed against the selected laser package
- Other listed metals
- Titanium and galvanized steel require material-specific process confirmation

Review the complete loading sequence
Semi-automatic describes an assisted workflow, not a promise that every handling step is automated. Identify who places the stock, how it reaches the chuck, how long tubes are supported and how finished parts are collected. Use that sequence to define the quoted configuration.
Keep the series table separate from the final model specification
The page lists four models and shared reference specifications. Confirm the tube range, support arrangement and installation dimensions for the selected model. A series-level value should not be assumed to describe every possible configuration.
Machine selection questions
What does semi-automatic mean for this tube-cutting series?
The loading arrangement remains operator-assisted while the chuck, support and cutting system coordinate the machining cycle. The exact operator and equipment tasks depend on the model and selected loading arrangement.
Are all four models supplied with identical capacities?
The page provides shared reference specifications for the series. Final model, tube range and support layout are confirmed before order. Send the profile, length and weight so the offered machine can be specified explicitly.
Is the listed 100 m/min the tube cutting speed?
It is the listed maximum positioning speed. It does not establish the speed through a particular material or the number of finished parts per shift. Evaluate the cut geometry, wall thickness and loading cycle when defining output requirements.
When should I compare automatic bundle loading?
Compare that option when repeat stock loading is part of the production requirement. TY-S120-G lists optional bundle loading and optional automatic unloading and sorting. Assess the complete handling sequence and include the selected options when comparing its quote with an operator-assisted machine.
What should I send to choose a semi-automatic model?
Provide the tube cross-section, outside dimensions, wall thickness, material, stock length, finished-part drawing and required output. Describe the operator loading method, support needs and available floor space so the model and process package can be reviewed.
